Rockness must be the most beautiful site for a festival in the world and I had such an amazing time. My highlights have to be chemical brothers (totally amazing visuals) and daft punk (amazing visual aswell but they should have played main stage though)

if daft punk would have played the main stage then all the amazing atmosphere in the tent would have been lost. crackin choice to have them in the tent nessie. shame we couldn't go for a swim though

What an experience! Was really impressed with the organization of the event. Chemecal brothers were out of this world and got they're set spot on. Daft Punk were good but should have played on main stage which I think 99% of the attendance will agree. Looking forward to next year!!!

What a weekend! Immense! Daft Punk were out of this world, Chemical Brothers were great as were 2ManyDJs and DJ Twitch. Roll on next year!!!!!!!!!!! :o)

class weekend! Everyone got burnt cos we underestimated the highland sun tho! Shame we couldnt get to the loch but i think folk my have drowned! Will defo be back

What an ace wknd that was, sad its over, that view is just breathtaking. Daft Punk were by far the best and the atmosphere both at the campsite and in the arena was spot on! Really enjoyed 06 and 07 so roll on Rock Ness 2008!

agree 100% with everyone here . . . rockness - easily the best, most chilled festival i've ever been to. Daft Punk should've definitely had main stage - awesome. chemicals were still the best in my opinion - again tho i reckon they should've closed main stage sunday night and had the fireworks with daft punk main stage sat night. these are v small things tho. all in all, rockness has to best festival there is - and without a doubt the most bonny location. don't tell yer mates - let's keep this one a secret ;).

Chemical brothers and Daft punk where amazing dont agree Daft Punk should have been on main stage though as the atmosphere in tent was so good dont think it would have been as good if it was out in the open, especially the lights. Stunning view, top festival. Are there any pics from the other direction showing the site with the loch in the background? Daft Punk wouldn't, couldn't and shouldn't have played the main stage. They played in a tent for good reason. It's a shame everyone who wanted to see them couldn't but it wouldn't have been the same, the atmosphere and sound in the tent was unbeatable and anticipation unbearable. Frankly I don't see how it can be topped next year!!!

absolutly top festival. over from ireland for the week and had an amazing time. chemical brothers were amazing. the craic in the campsite was fantastic. everyone was so chilled. daft punk on the main stage with the fireworks would have being fantastic. hopefully they wont turn it into a global gathering as the mix of bands and dj's is the way forward. roll on next year.

Im still on a high from Daft Punk. Playing in a tent was a fantastic idea(for those who got inside). It totally contained the atmosphere and framed the light show well. It was epic. Soulwax were good before them as well it has to be said. The perfect warm up. I will carry my fond Daft Punk memories to my grave! ;)

Up all night! Up all night. What a festival. The levelleres were the nuts. Need bigger tents or outdoor stages for the dance acts, trying to get into groove armada was a nightmare! Apart from that it was quality

Daft Punk wouldnt of been as good on the main stage! Their lights were wicked, as was everything else! Hope the organizers do everything they can to get them back next year!! Cant wait already counting it down - best festival ever!!

I could only manage the Sunday nite and it was top stuff, was outside the big tent so found small white tent with bar and the dj's were fantastic, if anyone knows who played in that tent let me know, cant wait till 08 thanks to all at the event :))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))

what a weekend, that has to be one of the best festivals ever!!! so good infact i have bought my tickets for next year!!!!. daft punk = amazing. they should play every year, i would never get sick of listening to them. only problem was the q's for tents & food. i had to stand in a q for the worst roll n sausage ever. to add insult to injury, they put a square sausage on a finger roll!!! wouldnt miss 2008 for all the tea in china tho xx

it was only my second festival, first time ive done the whole weekend. my lord what a weekend. it started so badly as well, missed the train on the way up. but daft punk well and truly erased that memory, ive waited about 8 years to see them. the sights were fantastic, a truly brilliant setting for a festival

1 month on and i still get goose bumbs every time i think of the wonderful rockness, daft punk made me the happiest person alive when they rocked the clash arena...You could of cut the atmosphere with a knife in there, good call putting them in the tent...:)

Just cant get over how great it was!! The weather, the people, the beautiful site it was held and the music. Was great waking up there. Was well worth the car sickness to get there. The 120 miles!!!!
Though next year will be better. Have to say im totally addicted to RockNess now.

Well done rockness crew, you'v really made a point that you should be one of the main festivals on the calendar. whoever decided daft punk should be in the tent really knows their stuff. the atmosphere in the tent was the one of the best I've ever experienced and their set was unreal. everyone who managed to get in knows it wouldn't have been the same outside. just wondering what's up nessie's sleeve to try and top that next year?

I've been to quite a few festivals, and this was by far the best. The atmosphere makes it even better. The weather and scenery were the icing on the cake. Can't wait!!!! Only 24 hours to go, and we'll be back there again. Ya beauty, party on!
